How Wombat Security Uses Threat Stack to Secure Its Own AWS Infrastructure

When Wombat Security Technologies and ThreatSim (acquired by Wombat in October 2015) decided to develop and deploy our suite of end user risk management and education solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), we went "into the cloud" with eyes wide open. We knew that, to realize the full potential of AWS (scale, cost, performance), we needed to “do AWS right.” This meant treating our servers like cattle, not like pets.

Threat Stack Year-End Update

It’s December, which in Boston means we’re stocking up on L.L. Bean boots and hunkering down for a cold, snowy winter. 2015 has been an
incredible year here at Threat Stack — this last quarter, in particular. We’ve been hard at work developing several important integrations to the Threat Stack platform as well as celebrating a few very big milestones. But most of all, we wanted to take a moment to thank you — our incredible community — for all of your support since our launch out of beta last year, and for providing feedback that has inspired several of this quarter’s featured announcements (see below).

A Deep Dive on Threat Stack: Recap of our Live Product Q&A

This week our product team, led by Chris Gervais, Threat Stack’s VP of Engineering, and Aaron Botsis, Threat Stack’s Product Manager, hosted a live Q&A webinar, diving into the intricacies of security for cloud-native environments and what Threat Stack is doing about it. Before the webinar, we asked attendees to submit their most pressing questions, letting them take the reigns in the discussion. We had many great questions come in and took care to cover as many as possible. We also demoed Threat Stack itself to show how the platform works and some recent updates based specifically on customer feedback.
